Your gateway to paradise…
Welcome to Cook Islands Travel, your travel experts in this South Pacific island paradise. We specialise in helping travellers find their ideal accommodation and flights to Cook Islands, a destination that offers a more serene and authentic island experience than more commercial destinations like Fiji or Bali.

Getting to the Cook Islands
Fifteen small islands make up the Cook Islands – the largest island is Rarotonga, where you’ll find their international airport.
One of the biggest factors when deciding on your flights to the Cook Islands is the class of travel you want to choose. With limited services flying to the Cook Islands, you can easily narrow it down to your preference for budget airfares or a more premium experience, including business.
There are two important things to note when travelling to the Cook Islands.
Firstly, the flight to Rarotonga is shorter than the return flight. Due to strong headwinds, this adds around 1-2 hours or more depending on your return destination.
Secondly, the Cook Islands sits just over the International Date Line.
This means the time difference isn’t just a few hours, despite the few hours it takes to get there! The Cook Islands are a day behind Australia, so you will lose a day when you fly home.
This is why it’s really important to be careful with dates when planning your trip. You don’t want to miss out on anything because you didn’t realise you’d be back a day earlier than expected.
